Recap

Wednesday night was night of close tremendous scores on Fan Duel & DraftKings.  We were able to accurately predict the following top performers for the night:

***If you want full projections as we are within one standard deviation for every player, every night, you must contact us on our twitter account @TheDiRTCanon ***

  • Russell Westbrook – DiRTCanon Analyzershowed 56.2 and he actually put up 62.1.  If he is playing, you have to have him or you WILL NOT cash, I promise.
  • Monta Ellis– On our Must Haveslist DiRTCanon Analyzer predicted a 28.6 point performance and he instead put up a consistent 26.7.
  • Jo Noah– Just to show you how good our analytics system really is, here is another example, we projected a 34.9 and Noah put up 33.9. Had he made his other free throw, it would have been perfect for the 10th time in two days from just the list we provide here.
  • Nikola Mirotic– He scored 40.1 and while DiRTCanon Analyzerprojected a 31.6, Gasol and Noah were being subbed out while Mirotic stayed in the game.  He is now their closer and until his salary gets up there, he should be in your lineup.

***All stats are using standard Fan Duel scoring***

As for our lineups, in addition to the three posted, we played another three lineups as we stay consistent with that approach here is the breakdown of our wins last night:

  • (470 of 11494) – 296.5 on a $25 entry league paid out $75
  • (11975 of 86206) – 278 on a $1 entry league paid out $2.50
  • (10 of 100) – 279.6 on a $2 entry and that tournament paid out $6

So we entered with a total of $33 and won $83.50, accumulating a profit of $50.50.  This brings our yearly total for NBA on Fan Duel to $2,063, starting with a $100 deposit.  We will be posting our DraftKings totals starting on March 9th, 2015 as that will mark three full weeks.

Must Haves:

  1. (PG) Mo Williams– He has averaged 38.18 Fan Duel points per game over his last 5 and is coming off another 35+ point performance. DiRTCanon Analyzer projects a 35.8 tonight and is our #1 projected PG tonight.
  2. (SG) Victor Oladipo – He is the #2 projected SG as Harden still comes in at #1 but costly with a tough matchup and that’s why you need us. DiRTCanon Analyzerprojects 35.9
  3. (SF) LeBron James – If Westbrook wasn’t recording all-time great numbers right now, we would all be saying #KingJames is the league MVP, over 50+ Fan Duel points in 5 consecutive games and averaging 56.4. DiRTCanon Analyzerlists him at 52.4 tonight only because the Hawks have a defense.
  4. (PF) Anthony Davis – DiRTCanon Analyzer projects a 56.2 as he has the #1 overall projection for tonight. Coming off a 78.6 Fan Duel point performance look for a 30 point and 10 rebound night tonight.
  5. (C) Marc Gasol – DiRTCanon Analyzer lists him at 38.2 for tonight. Let’s face it the Lakers don’t stop anyone these days so he will have a good night but for upside and a slight cost savings you should consider Gobert projected at 34.9 or Whiteside projected at 37.3.

Sleepers:

  1. (PG) Greivis Vasquez– What can we say, he is cheap and in a night where you need Anthony Davis and LeBron James you will need him in your lineup. DiRTCanon Analyzer shows 29.2 tonight.
  2. (SG) Jason Richardson – Coming in at $4,600, he has put up 30+ Fan Duelpoints in his last 3 appearances over 4 games.  If he plays, he will score with huge upside.
  3. (SF) Mike Dunleavy – Look Chicago has limited ability to score, he is the starter, he put up 28 Fan Duelperformance last night and he only costs $3,900!
  4. (PF) Nikola Mirotic– As we said earlier, he will be in our Sleepers list until his salary gets above $5,200, tonight he comes in at $4,500 and DiRTCanon Analyzer 4 preojection tonight.
  5. (C) – We don’t have one and neither should you. Whiteside, Gobert or Gasol tonight.  If you go with a cheap play here, you will not win because these guys are most likely going for 45+ tonight and that is all it takes to keep you out of the money.

Notable Injuries

Lowry continues to sit and no we have no idea why, Avery Bradley is out so Crowder and Turner could be nice sleeper picks tonight as they come in at #17 and #19 in our projections tonight for their positions.  Deng is questionable with soreness, not sure what that means but we will take that as a note to keep him sidelined.  Terrance Jones is questionable which is tough because he has been a beast.  If he doesn’t go look for Motiejunas to have another big night tonight.  We just don’t think you can afford to not play Anthony “The Brow” Davis alongside Mirotic but you might think otherwise and tomorrow we will find out.

Recap

Wednesday night was night of close tremendous scores on Fan Duel & DraftKings.  We were able to accurately predict the following top performers for the night:

  • Rudy Gobert– DiRTCanon Analyzer showed 36.2 and he actually put up 39.7, just another consistent rebounder and almost lead the Jazz back with 2 late blocks.
  • Jeremy Lin– On our Sleepers list DiRTCanon Analyzer predicted at least a 31.2 point performance and he instead put up an amazing 34.9.
  • James Harden– Not surprising to us, he managed a 45.3 outing as we said he would have 45.1
  • LeBron James– He scored 54.2 and while DiRTCanon Analyzer projected a 54.3, James brought the Cavs to victory down the stretch and just goes to show you how accurate we can be in our analysis.
  • PJ Tucker – All he did was put up a 39.8 for you last night as we said he would get at least 32.

***All stats are using standard Fan Duel scoring***

As for our lineups, in addition to the three posted, we played another 7 lineups as we stay consistent with that approach given the fact that there were extra games and our results were as follows:

  • (157 of 45977) – 371.2 on a $25 entry league paid out $250
  • (1157 of 11494) – 293 on a $1 entry league paid out $3 (after hours contest)
  • (2 of 20) – 302.7 on a $5 entry and that tournament paid out $15

So we entered with a total of $40 and won $268, accumulating a profit of $228.  This brings our yearly total for NBA on Fan Duel to $2,012.50, starting with a $100 deposit.  We will be posting our DraftKings totals starting on March 9th, 2015 as that will mark three full weeks.

Games to Play Tonight

Just click on the one of the links above and you will be directed to these contests and you can start making a profit.

Must Haves:

  1. (PG) Russell Westbrook – He has averaged 68.75 Fan Duel points per game over his last 5 and is coming off a triple-double. It doesn’t matter who he is playing he is on an all-time tear. DiRTCanon Analyzer projects a 56.2 tonight.
  2. (SG) Monta Ellis– He is by far the highest projected candidate for SG’s tonight so take him for sure. DiRTCanon Analyzer projects 28.6
  3. (SF) Nicolas Batum– Coming off a great performance with 20 points and 8 rebounds look for him to continue tonight. DiRTCanon Analyzer lists him at 28.8 tonight.
  4. (PF) LaMarcus Aldridge– DiRTCanon Analyzer projects a 39.1 as he has the top matchup for the PF position tonight as the Blazers take on the Mavs in an important matchup in the West.  He has averaged 43.5 Fan Duel points per game over his last 5.
  5. (C) Jo Noah– DiRTCanon Analyzer lists Noah at 34.9 for tonight. He has averaged 34.8 over his last 5 and look for another consistent outing against Kanter tonight.

Sleepers:

  1. (PG) Aaron Brooks – Simply put, he is cheap, he is the starter and you are limited in your options when taking Westbrook, who you must have. DiRTCanon Analyzer shows 22 tonight.
  2. (SG) Tony Snell– Coming in at $3,800, he will be on every lineup tonight so keep that in mind.  He will put up at least 22 Fan Duel points tonight.
  3. (SF) Richard Jefferson– In a flash from the past, Parsons is out, look for Jefferson to have a solid 23.3 Fan Duel points tonight.
  4. (PF) Nikola Mirotic– He has been a huge contributor with Rose and Butler out on the offensive side, look for another solid performance…if he takes the court as he battles a shoulder injury.  DiRTCanon Analyzer 31.6 prediction tonight.
  5. (C) Robin Lopez– We believe that he will be a play on a lot of lineups with a ton of upside if Chandler sits again. DiRTCanon Analyzer shows a 23.2 tonight.

Notable Injuries

Chandler Parsons is going to sit out again and Tyson Chandler is a GTD.  Butler and Rose are gone for a while so this is the Bulls team you will see for a while.

Late Adds:

Anthony Davis and Westbrook will play tonight.  You might shy away from Ajinca with Davis coming back but Asik hasn’t played all that well so you might sit tight!

Recap

Tuesday night was another night of close calls on Fan Duel & DraftKings.  We were able to accurately predict the following top performers for the night:

  • Rudy GobertDiRTCanon Analyzer showed 48.3 and he actually put up 43.3, just shy but 24 boards was a huge showing of his up and coming talent.
  • Giannes AntetokounmpoDiRTCanon Analyzer predicted 36.6 and he actually scored 38.2 just missing our 40 point club for the evening.
  • Jeremy Lin – On our Sleepers list DiRTCanon Analyzer predicted at least a 30 point performance and he instead put up an amazing 45.2.
  • Mo Williams – He continued his success since moving to the Hornets and put up a 41.1 compared to the 36.94 we anticipated.
  • Donatas Motiejunas – Not surprising to us, he managed a 40.1 outing
  • LeBron James – He scored 45.1 and while DiRTCanon Analyzer projected a 51.56, James didn’t even take the court in the 4th quarter as that was a complete destruction of the Celtics.

***All stats are using standard Fan Duel scoring***

As for our lineups, in addition to the three posted, we played another 3 lineups as we stay consistent with that approach and our results were as follows:

  • (2 of 20) – 308.1 on a $2 entry league paid out $5
  • (1 of 20) – 311.4 on a $1 entry league paid out $10
  • (18665 of 100574) – 293.7 on a $2 entry and that tournament paid out $2.50

So we entered with a total of $10 and won $17.50, accumulating a profit of $7.50.  This brings our yearly total for NBA on Fan Duel to $1,784.50, starting with a $100 deposit.  We will be posting our DraftKings totals starting on March 9th, 2015 as that will mark three full weeks.

Games to Play Tonight

Just click on the one of the links above and you will be directed to these contests and you can start making a profit.

Must Haves:

  1. (PG) Ricky Rubio – He has averaged 40 Fan Duel points per game over his last 5 and is coming off a triple-double. It doesn’t hurt that he is playing the Nuggets tonight at home. DiRTCanon Analyzer projects a 44.9 tonight.
  2. (SG) James Harden – Coming off his #RoyalJewels suspension, look for Harden to step right back in and put a 50+ performance for you tonight. DiRTCanon Analyzer projects 51.2
  3. (SF) LeBron James – Since he didn’t have to play the 4th quarter, he should be ready for this back to back and DiRTCanon Analyzer lists #KingJames at 54.3 tonight. We should note that Wiggins comes in at 38.5 and is significantly cheaper.
  4. (PF) Derrick FavorsDiRTCanon Analyzer projects a 37.2 as he has the top matchup for the PF position tonight as the Celtics are giving up 46.3 to the PF over the last 5. Honorable mention would be Terrance Jones for the Rockets.  He has averaged 35 Fan Duel points per game over his last 5.
  5. (C) DeAndre JordanDiRTCanon Analyzer lists Jordan at 40.2 for tonight. Something to note is that despite #HackAJordan, he has increased his playing time to be on the floor 82% of the time over the last 5 games.  A strong note here would be to continue to play the hot hand of Gobert.  Gobert has the top matchup tonight against Boston, giving up 53 Fan Duel points per game to the C position.

Sleepers:

  1. (PG) Jeremy Lin – He tops our list again, only a cost of $5,200 and another strong matchup. DiRTCanon Analyzer shows 31.2 tonight.
  2. (SG) Rodney Stuckey – Slightly higher, $5,300 salary tonight, he has averaged 32.3 Fan Duel points per game over his past 5, look for 35+ tonight.
  3. (SF) PJ Tucker – Last game he went off for 32 Fan Duel points and we show a strong outing of 26 points tonight with a nice matchup against Orlando.
  4. (PF) Donatas Motiejunas – Is this Tuesday again?! Nope, he just gets tons of playing time with Howard out and he can hit the three which the Rockets love.  DiRTCanon Analyzer 31.6 prediction tonight.
  5. (C) Alexis Ajinca – Davis is still sidelined and so that means more time for Ajinca, who has posted a double-double in 3 straight. DiRTCanon Analyzer shows a 28.4 against Detroit tonight.

Notable Injuries

Kevin Martin is expected back, so for all those Gary Neal folks, be cautious of this even though we think Neal is still a solid play.  Pekovic looks to be out again as such Dieng will have more time on the court and playing against the Nuggets who are without Nurkic tonight.  Lowry is still out as expected and Tobias Harris is a GTD tonight with a knee injury.

DraftKings Optimal Lineup

Consider entering tonight’s NBA Contest here with this lineup and watch the dollars roll in:

3-3-15:

News & Notes:

To all of our followers we have had to make some changes to our structure within the Fan Duel setting as such please use our link to Fan Duel.  We will have banners and links coming later this week that you can follow directly to some of our selected tournaments that will provide you with the greatest success and potential financial growth.  We are also partnered with DraftKings so check them out.

CP3, D-Wade, Andrew Wiggins, Nerlens Noel and DeAndre Jordan are all part of our Must Haves list from yesterday, scoring at least 31.6.  They combined for 192.7 and so if you were able to mix in Gary Neal, Nowitzki and Ricky Rubio who contributed an additional 115.3 then you would have been sitting at 308 with two more guys to select.  We missed on Aminu yesterday and instead should have had Jefferson as he got the stretch minutes last night.  Of our 6 lineups we cashed in 4 of them with these results being the following:

  1. 311.9 (3178 of 100574)
  2. 307.7 (18 of 11494) late night Jefferson for Aminu would have taken us to first place or if Ellis hits the last shot of the game for 3 points
  3. 283.7 (1786 of 11494) late night
  4. 315.1 (2511 of 100574)

Our lineup optimizer tool is in the final phases of development and testing prior to launching on our site.  In the meantime we will post 3 lineups per day moving forward as there has been some confusion that our Sleepers and Must Haves should make up your entire lineup.  To clarify, our Sleepers are some cheap options at each position that could have big nights due to injuries on the team or added playing time.  Start with our Must Haves and fill in your lineup thereafter and if you need a cheap substitute to go get that other star, we are here to help make that decision.

Must Haves:

  1. (PG) Mo Williams – He is averaging 36.94 Fan Duel points per game over the last 5 and let’s face it, he is playing the Lakers who give up the most points in the NBA.
  2. (SG) Giannis Antetokounmpo – He is projected to be the #1 producer from the SG position on Fan Duel tonight but that is only because Harden has been suspended for tonight’s game.  Look for #GreekFreak to go for 20 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assist, 1 steal and 1 block tonight as DiRTCanon Analyzer
  3. (SF) LeBron James – He is averaging 51.56 Fan Duel points per game over his last 5 and without Irving look for the offense to continue to run through #KingJames
  4. (PF) Pau Gasol – No Rose, no Butler, no problem….Gasol will score 26 points to go along with 14 rebounds and continue to lead the NBA in double-doubles.
  5. (C) Rudy Gobert – He continues to produce since Kanter was dealt and look for another strong outing.  DiRTCanon Analyzer predicts 20 points, 16 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 3 That’s a lock for 48.7 from Gobert tonight.

Sleepers:

  1. (PG) Jeremy Lin – He has averaged 30 Fan Duel points per game over his last 5 and we have seen him go on runs like this before.  Look for this to continue and his $5,200 salary makes him a sneaky pick if you want Gasol and James in your lineup tonight.
  2. (SG) Will Barton – Coming in at $4,500 on Fan Duel and averaging 98 points for a terrible Nuggets team over his last 5. Let’s face it, he will score some points, but will he be in the game in the 4th quarter?  Because the Nuggets are getting blown off the court yet again, risk/reward could be there tonight.
  3. (SF) Jae Crowder – He has averaged 30.2 Fan Duel points per game over the past 5 games and is projected to be the #5 producer at the SF position tonight.  His $4,800 salary means you can pair him with #KingJames and revel in a score of 80 from the SF position tonight.
  4. (PF) Donatas Motiejunas – Howard is still gone and so Motiejunas will continue to get a large portion of minutes and without Harden he should get a boost in scoring tonight.  He also has the top matchup with the Atlanta Hawks giving up 54.4 points per game to the PF position over the last 10.
  5. (C) Marcin Gortat – He might be the hottest C in the league right now.  He has put up 20+ points and 12+ rebounds over his last 3 games.  The key for him is 30 minutes. If he plays 30 minutes, then he will score at least 37 Fan Duel points – if he plays less then he might only bring you 20 Fan Duel pointsGortat has the least cost, and potentially highest reward at a $5,500 salary tonight.

Notable Injuries

James Harden has been suspended for his love tap to the #CrownJewels, Jimmy Butler has been listed as being out 3 – 6 weeks, which means it’s Gasol or bust down the stretch and finally, we have DeMarcus Cousins – who might play tonight, and when he does – he is a lock.  Uncertainty over this game-time decision keeps him off our Must Haves list for today and we will keep an eye on him tonight.

3-2-15:

Must Haves:

  1. (PG) Chris Paul – His $10,000 Fan Duel salary explains his importance since Griffin went down.  He has been hovering around 50 Fan Duel points per game and had Westbrook not just polished off a triple-double run for the ages we would all be saying CP3 is still the best PG in the game.
  2. (SG) Dwayne Wade – He is averaging 32.6 Fan Duel points per game and has a fantastic matchup against the Suns tonight who are giving up 42.6 points per game to the SG position over their last 5 games.  It doesn’t hurt that Dragic is hurt and most likely will not play.
  3. (SF) Andrew Wiggins – For a rookie he has been on a tear averaging 21 points per game over the last 10 games for the T-Wolves.  His Fan Duel status makes him a must start with Kevin Martin coming down with an illness, look for all the scoring to come from Wiggins tonight.
  4. (PF) Nerlans Noel – He has been creeping up to the must have list for the past couple of weeks.  He is averaging 12.0 points per game, 8.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.6 blocks in his last 5 games.  That equates to 33.52 Fan Duel points per game over his last 5.
  5. (C) DeAndre Jordan – Similar to CP3, Jordan has elevated his play while Griffin has been out.  Jordan is averaging 16.2 points, 19.3 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 1.6 steals and 2.0 blocks since February 8th.  That’s a 48.06 Fan Duel points per game over that span and combine that with the #HackAJordan philosophy, he will get 15 free throw attempts at a minimum and eventually he will hit half of them.

Sleepers:

  1. (PG) Greivis Vasquez – His salary of $4,100 and the fact that Kyle Lowry is going to sit out this week and rest makes him the most valuable find for the week in terms of point production per dollar spent on Fan Duel.  Philly is also giving up 42.6 points per game to the PG position over their last 5.
  2. (SG) Jason Richardson – He is also a $4,100 salary player tonight and Toronto is giving up 44.6 points per game to the SG position over their last 5.  That is tops for tonight’s games so look for Richardson to continue his production since the trade deadline allowed him to get some playing time.
  3. (SF) Al-Farouq Aminu – Why doesn’t he just get the start, we are asking the same question but reality is that Aminu will get 30+ minutes and with Parsons and Tyson Chandler out again tonight look for a solid performance for little cost.
  4. (PF) David Lee – Simply put he has the best matchup of the day for PF’s as the Nets are giving up 43.8 points per game to the PF position and Lee has started to get it rolling of late.
  5. (C) Jonas Valanciunas – He already averages 24.9 Fan Duel points per game with a solid matchup agains the 76ers tonight giving up 54.7 points per game to the C position, that is tops for teams playing tonight.  Jonas will get a bit more offensive workload tonight with Lowry out.

Injury Notables:

Kyle Lowry is likely to miss all week while he rests his elbow injury and prepares for a playoff run.  Kevin Martin has come down with an illness and is doubtful tonight adding to the fact that he missed shoot around this morning, don’t play him on your Fan Duel lineup tonight.  Chandler Parsons and Tyson Chandler are both going to miss another game tonight with ankle and hip issues respectively, look for Dirk to play more at the C position and Aminu to be prevalent in tonights lineup.
