Teaching You How to #Win – Week 17 Lineups and Weather

name of site - hunter thompson style

Can you believe this is the final week of the NFL season already? Neither can I, seems like just yesterday we were kicking off the season and everyone had a shot. Today, we have about 10 teams that have something to play for and congrats to the NFL for scheduling these games so that we have as much meaningful football on week 17. As for the weather, we have some light drizzle in Miami with an expected temperature of 75°. That should have very little impact there so if your going with Brady and Gronk, you should be fine. In Ohio we have mid 30’s expected for both the Bengals and Browns games but not really any high wind factors there so these games should be good to go there. In San Francisco we have 56° and rain there as well. Look for the Rams to pound the running game, with or without Gurley. Looks like Snow in Buffalo for the Jets and Bills game so watch the run game there. The last game of the regular season is in Green Bay with an expected temperature of only 25° but that doesn’t mean anything for either of these teams. Each team will play all their guys and there shouldn’t be a decline due to weather tonight. For more information just come here.

Lineup Considerations

Now for the part that we know you have all been waiting for, give me the lineup that will win. I know, I know, we have done this quite significantly in the past and now we have our lineup analyzer providing automatic lineup recommendations but what do I think. Here is my top 3 lineups for week 10 on Draftkings:

Public Picks

In this section, we look to provide you with a breakdown of who the public is taking this week. Since this information is not readily available we are using the perfect challenge from nfl.com.

Based on public picks, a lot of folks are going to go back to the Big Ben and Antonio Brown combo after their fantasy dud last week but we like Matt Ryan and Julio Jones as our combo this week. At RB, there could be over 20% ownership of DeAngelo Williams and Freeman this week so for value you might consider one of them and then go with Hightower as your secondary back. All of the top end WR should have solid days so if your looking for mid to cheap guys, Jordan Matthews should be one of your top considerations. Another player to consider here is going to be Nate Washington. He only has 3 games per season worth having him and the Jags have been the 30th ranked pass defense over the past 5 games. At TE, it’s Ertz all day across the board. He could get 15 targets today and the Giants cannot stop anyone right now.
