#NFL Week 6 Retrospectacle: Stafford-Megatron Stack Highlights Revival Week

Did you miss the Matthew Stafford-Calvin Johnson stacks this season, they’re back! NFL Week 6 was highlighted with the Lions duo scoring a bunch of points.

“Down, but not out.”

That’s what we wrote this past Wednesday about Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, who was coming off being benched for the likes of Dan Orlovsky one game ago. (That is the ultimate fantasy indignity, right?)

Stafford rebounded in Week 6 with 405 yards passing and four touchdowns against a suspect Chicago Bears secondary. His 34.9 points led all quarterbacks. Not too shabby for a mere $6,900 on FanDuel.

“I can’t say it enough that Matt (Stafford) had a hell of a game man,” Lions wide receiver Lance Moore told Jeff Seidel of the Detroit Free Press. “He stood in there, he took some shots, he delivered the ball and guys made plays for him.”

It is NFL Week 6 Retrospectacle proof that sometimes you have to go for the Hail Mary in fantasy (and reality) football. Chucking it up to Calvin Johnson does wonders, as we wrote.
